INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
for Detectable Cable Tie Adhesive Backed Mounting Bases
NOTE: THIS PRODUCT IS TO BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN.
IF USING AROUND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT DISCONNECT POWER
BEFORE INSTALLING.

OF PROCESSED PRODUCT, VERIFY DETECTIBILITY BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE:
• Adhesive base should be attached to a surface within one year of manufacture, see expiration date on
package. Store in a cool dry location below 24°C/76°F.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Apply to mounting surface at 18°C/65°F or above.
2. Clean and dry surface before applying. Be sure surface is free from oil, powder, dust or release agents.
NOTE: This product is approved for mounting to the following surfaces: Stainless Steel, ABS, Nylon, PVC,
Polypropylene, Aluminum, Enameled Painted Steel, and Galvanized Steel.
3. Remove release liner from adhesive pad.
4. Position into desired location and apply rm pressure for 30 seconds.
5. To bundle wires, place appropriate size cable tie length half way through the slot of the mounting base
(Figure 1). Reference maximum cable tie width (Dimension A) shown in the gures 3, 4 and 5.
6. Bundle wires uniformly and center over the mounting base (Figure 2).
7. Wrap cable tie around wire bundle and insert tail into tie head.
8. Cinch up cable tie around wire bundle and cut off excess tail.
