General Welcome to the world of the ORDERMAN Max Congratulations on purchasing the ORDERMAN Max. This document will help you to get to know your ORDERMAN Max and familiarize yourself with its functions. User’s Manual Max Hand Held Terminal ! " Charging the battery Insert the battery into the handset and connect the mains adaptor to the lower side of the ORDERMAN Max and to the electricity supply. The rechargeable battery is now charged. When the handset is switched on, the charging symbol shows that charging process is underway. It takes around 4 hours to completely charge the battery. The handset can be used during the charging process.
The following settings can be chosen in the ORDERMAN setup. Touch calibration set-up Touch calib. First, touch the four crosses on the display using the Orderman touch pen. Followed by the four points on the menu card (the sequence will be shown in the display). Setting the contrast and background lighting Display Using the ORDERMAN touch pen, pull the bar in the bar area to change the contrast ("contrast") and the brightness of the display ("backlight").
User’s Manual Max Hand Held Terminal Changing menu cards The menu card changing process may only be carried out in a dry and clean environment. Switch the ORDERMAN Max off and carefully loosen both screws on the underside of the device. You can now remove the locking part and then remove the menu card from the ORDERMAN Max. Push the new menu card straight until it fits into the handset. Then screw the locking part carefully back on with the two screws.
