ec-H2O NanoClean

Module Replacement Kit

Models equipped with ec-H2O NanoClean Technology

This kit includes a replacement module and a new water

conditioning cartridge. To prevent potential scaling in new

module, it’s important to replace the existing water

conditioning cartridge when installing a new module. If

existing cartridge is not replaced, the cartridge mixture

may run out before timer signals code to replace cartridge,

resulting in potential scaling.

Kit Contents

FOR SAFETY: Before servicing machine, stop on

level surface, turn off machine, and set parking brake

if equipped.

INSTALL ec-H2O NanoClean MODULE:

1. Drain the solution and recovery tank.

2. Park the machine on a level surface, turn off machine

and set parking brake if equipped.

3. Remove the defective module from machine.

4. Cut the module inlet hose as specified if applicable

(Figure 1).

5. Install new module. Make sure all hose connections

are properly clamped.

INSTALL NEW ec- H2O WATER

CONDITIONING CARTRIDGE:

1. Remove existing water conditioning cartridge from

machine. The cartridge is located near module. To

disconnect the two hose connectors from cartridge,

press the gray collars inward and pull the connectors

outward. Dispose of old cartridge (Figure 2).

NOTE: The cartridge on the T5, T5e, A5 and Speed

Scrub 24- 32 (SS5) models is located near scrub head as

shown (Figure 3)

2. Check the manufacture date on new Water

Conditioning Cartridge before installing (Figure 4). The

shelf-life of an un-installed cartridge is one year from

manufacture date. Discard cartridge if shelf-life has

expired. For replacement Cartridge, order p/n

9013646.

3. Fill in the installation date on the Water Conditioning

Cartridge label (Figure 4).

Page 2 of 2 KIT NO. 9011810, 9018615- T7 AMR 4. Remove the two plugs from the cartridge. Press the gray collars inward and pull plugs outward to remove (Figure 5). Install new cartridge and reconnect green hoses to cartridge (Figure 5). Make sure the hose connectors are fully inserted. 3. To change the machine configuration, repeat step 2. While the indicator lights are blinking (within the 10 second window), press the solution flow button to cycle through the machine configurations as shown in figure 7.
