SYNOPSIS:

This kit contains the parts needed to replace rear squeegee assembly on T17 scrubbers.

Please follow step-by-step instructions.

PREPARATION:

FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing

machine, stop on level surface, turn off

machine, and remove key.

step.

INSTALLATION: 1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the rear squeegee assembly. (Fig. 1) 3. Pull the rear squeegee assembly from the machine. (Fig. 4) FIG. 4 FIG. 1 2. Loosen both squeegee mounting handles. (Fig. 2 / Fig. 3) FIG. 2 FIG. 3 2 4. Loosen the rear retainer latch and remove the latch and the retainer from the squeegee assembly. 5. Remove the rear squeegee from the squeegee assembly. Set the rear squeegee aside. (Fig. 7) FIG. 7 6. Turn the rear squeegee assembly over to access the front of the squeegee assembly. 7. Loosen the front retainer latch and remove the latch and the retainer from the squeegee assembly. (Fig. 8 / Fig. 9) 8. Remove the front squeegee from the squeegee assembly. Set the front squeegee aside. Discard the rear squeegee assembly. (Fig. 10) FIG. 10 9.

. To adjust the squeegee leveling, loosen the tilt lock knob. (Fig. 11) ADJUST THE REAR SQUEEGEE BLADE DEFLECTION: 1. Lower the squeegee and drive the machine several meters (feet) forward and slowly bring the machine to a stop. 2. Look at the amount of deflection or “curl” of the squeegee blade. The correct amount of deflection is 12 mm (0.50 in) for scrubbing smooth floors and 15 mm (0.62 in) for rough floors. (Fig. 13) FIG. 11 5.

. Retighten the lock knobs. 4. Turn the adjustment knobs clockwise to increase deflection or counterclockwise to decrease deflection. (Fig. 15) 6. Drive the machine forward again to recheck the squeegee blade deflection. 7. Readjust the squeegee blade deflection if necessary. 8. Raise the rear bumper door / step when finished adjusting the rear squeegee blade deflection. FIG. 15 Note: Rear squeegee assembly shown disassembled to better show part locations.
