Installation instructions for kit number 382999
SYNOPSIS / PROBLEM:
This kit contains the parts needed to replace the control switches on the 515SS, 5700’s,
6200 series, 8010, ATLV4300 and Litter Hawkt.
Please follow step-by-step instructions.
SPECIAL TOOLS / CONSIDERATIONS: File, small recip. saw

PREPARATION:
(Refer to FIG. 1 thru 9)
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing machine, sto p on level surface and set parking
brake. T h en turn off machine and remove key.
1. Disconnect battery cables from machine.
WARNING: Always di sconn ect battery cables from machine before working
on electrical components.
INSTALLATION:
(Refer to FIG. 1 thru 9)
1. Locate, remove and set aside mounting hardware for control panels.
2. Lift control panels on the machines high enough to access wiring behind the control panel.
3. Disconnect the old switch from the wire harness and remove the switch(es) and indicator
lights from the control panel. (Refer to FIG. 4 thru 9)
4. Using a saw, file or cutting tool, lengthen the switch opening to 1.734” long or longer if
using the switch mounting plate. (Refer to FIG. 4 thru 9)
5. Spread terminals 1--2 and 5--6 on the back side of the new switch with a small slotted
screwdriver to prevent connections from coming into contact with each other.
6. Connect m ain wiring harness to the new switch, using diagrams shown in figures 1 thru 3
accordingly. (Refer to FIG. 1 thru 3)
7. Install the new switch back into the machine control panel.
8. Replace the machine control panel, and secure with the set aside mounting hardware.
Reconnect the battery cables to the machine, and check the switches for proper operation.
