MIYSD Wireless Smoke Detector – Set-up Information
Installation and Power-up
Please refer to the original manufacturer's instructions.
Programming
The smoke detector needs to be registered in the alarm receiver unit. Please refer to the User
Manual of the NurseCall Main Unit or Carephone.
Operation check
It is strongly recommended to perform an operation check of the installation on a regular
basis:
Let the alarm receivers and everyone around know that you are going to perform a test.
Push the test button on the smoke detector and hold it down until emission of the alarm.
Check that the alarm has been recognized by the receiver, it should acknowledge.
WARNING: triggering an alarm generates a powerful (85 dBA) acoustic signal!
Environmental note
This product has been made from high-quality parts and materials which can be
re-used and recycled. Therefore, do not throw the product away with normal
household waste at the end of its life. Take it to a collection point for recycling
electrical and electronic devices. This is indicated by the symbol below on the
product and on the packaging as well.
