RadarVision 2 User’s Guide Preliminary 1.0 Quick Start 1.1 What’s in the box Each RadarVision 2 (RV2) is shipped in a custom protective case with a foam insert to protect during shipping and in normal use. RadarVision 2 User’s Guide Preliminary To insert or change batteries, twist the tabbed quarter-turn connector on the battery door counter-clockwise, then swing the door open and disengage the tabs from the slots in the unit casing. Insert the battery with the metal contacts innermost. Locking the cover is the reverse process: engage the door tabs, then swing the door to spring-load the battery in its compartment.

Unplug the control module from the power converter. Reattach the power converter, then plug the control module into the battery. If the red flashing light reappears, the battery may be faulty. Preliminary RadarVision 2 User’s Guide 2.0 Getting Familiar with RadarVision 2 The RadarVision 2 (RV 2) is an ultra wideband-enabled device that detects motion through most common building materials. RadarVision 2 radar units provide through-wall intelligence vital to law enforcement and search and rescue teams. Time Domain's RadarVision® units have been sold to the U.S. military, U.S. domestic law enforcement agencies, Federal law enforcement agencies and foreign security agencies.

Any combination of these options may be selected or ‘layered’ upon one another for display viewing.

This range is user selectable for distances of 9ft., 15ft., and 30ft. as defined in Section 3.5.2. • Boresight line indicates the center of the field of view. • Voltage level is a real-time measurement of battery status. For more information on battery life refer to Section 3.7. • Range rings indicate intermediate distances for more accurate assessment of motion location.
