Normally, pressing and holding the Power key will power on the tablet and the Home screen will be displayed.
1.2 Home screen Your device provides a Home screen with three pages, giving you more space to add your favourite apps, folders and widgets, all accessible with a single touch. To switch between screens, slide your finger left or right. 1.2.1 Lock/Unlock your screen When your tablet is powered on, the default lock screen will show. Touch and slide up on the lock screen to unlock it; touch and slide to the left to access the camera. Touch twice on a shortcut icon to start the corresponding function.

Touch and drag down the Status bar to open the Quick settings panel or Notification panel. Touch and drag up to close it. Notification panel When there are notifications, touch and drag down the Status bar to open the Notification panel and read the detailed information.
1.3 Apps and widgets 1.3.1 Apps The Apps list contains all pre-installed and new apps. To access the Apps list, touch the all apps key from Home screen. 1.3.2 Widgets By long pressing an empty area in the Home screen, you can switch to widget interface mode. 1.3.3 Get more apps Touch the Google Play Store icon 1.3.4 to get more apps.
1.4 Basic operation 1.4.1 Power on your device Press and hold the Power key until the tablet powers on. It will take a few seconds before the screen lights up. 1.4.2 Power off your device • Press and hold the Power key for about 3 seconds until the menu appears. Select Power off from the menu to power off your device. 1.4.3 Stand-by mode Press the Power key once to shut down the screen and to enter the stand-by mode. Note: When unused, the product will enter stand-by mode automatically.
1.4.6 Change your wallpaper You can change your wallpaper in two ways. Long press the Home screen and select WALLPAPERS. Slide left and right to locate a desired image, and touch Set wallpaper to confirm. Alternatively follow the path: Settings > Display > Wallpaper. 1.4.7 Wi-Fi To turn Wi-Fi on and connect to a wireless network: • Touch Wi-Fi icon on the Quick settings panel to turn on/off Wi-Fi. Alternatively, select Settings > Wi-Fi and turn on/ off the Wi-Fi switch.
To create and send emails Touch icon on the Inbox screen. • Enter recipient(s) email address(es) in the To field. • If necessary, touch Cc or Bcc to add a copy or a blind copy to the message. • Type the subject and the content of the message. • Touch to add an attachment. • Finally, touch to send. • If you do not want to send the email right away, you can touch > Save draft to save a copy. 1.4.9 Surf the web Use the Browser app to surf the web easily and securely.
1.4.11 FM Radio Listen to the FM Radio • On the Home screen, touch function. > Radio to access this • Touch > Scan channels to search channels and select an available channel. Note: Connect your headphone first to access the function. Exit FM Radio Touch > Exit to exit FM radio. Touch to display the channel list. Touch to switch to the previous/next channel. Touch to switch to a different channel by decreasing or increasing 0.1 MHz.
2 Settings 2.1 Device 2.1.1 Display Touch Settings > Display to view the following: • Brightness level • Wallpaper • Sleep • Daydream Adjust your screen to a comfortable brightness. Set your wallpaper. Set a time before the Screensaver begins. Select an animation effect to show in standby status. • Font size Select a suitable font size for your tablet. • Rotation Set the device to rotate the contents of the screen or to stay in current orientation when it is rotated.
2.1.5 Battery Touch Settings > Battery to check the battery power and its service status. 2.1.6 Apps Touch Setting > Apps to check the App status. 2.1.7 Users Add a user or profile so that you can share the tablet with another person while protecting your privacy. 2.1.8 Gestures Your device can be configured in Alarm mode so that turning it over will start the snooze function. When the Palm to lock tablet feature is enabled, covering the screen with your palm will lock it.
2.2.5 Backup & reset You can back up settings and other data associated with one or more of your Google accounts. If you need to replace or factory reset your device, you can restore your data for any accounts that were previously backed up. Touch Settings > Backup & reset. Tips: Make sure that all the important data have been backed up before you run factory data reset, as this function will erase all user installed apps and data. Ensure that the remaining battery power is over 50%. 2.3 System 2.3.
