FAQ What is looping? The most basic of audio loopers on the market allow recording a phrase of audio, instantly and indefinitely playing the recording back in a loop, while at any time allowing new audio to be layered over top. VoiceJam offers this and much more.

How to Expand Your Looping Horizons If not already, you will most certainly one day ask yourself “I’ve built up this great loop, but now what?” We call this lonely-‐loop-‐syndrome. All traditional loopers on the market suffer from it. There are three progressively more powerful ways to overcome lonely-‐loop-‐syndrome with VoiceJam.

Transitions (Record Rerouting) With copy and overdub, you might find it’s tough to transition to a new ‘base’ theme -‐-‐ say to a completely new drumbeat. The solution is record rerouting. Record rerouting allows you to be playing from one loop (say your original drum beat) while recording to a new empty loop.

Saving your Work You can save a jam session, which includes whatever you record in the six loop orbs along with a single performance recording. You can recall it later, or even better, you can Share the recorded performance with your friends by uploading your performances to SoundCloud.

Sharing to SoundCloud From the Session View, select share. You can only share a performance recording, so make sure you have one recorded first. You will need an internet connection to transfer your recording. SoundCloud is a 3rd party internet service. Visit www.soundcloud.com to find out more. You will also need a SoundCloud account.

Microphone Utilities When performing to a live audience over a PA system, you may need these two simple but important features: Mic to Headphone and Mic Mute. Mic to Headphone sets whether what you are singing is mixed into your headphones (or PA system, if you’ve connected your headphone out to an external mixing board).

AudioCopy AudioCopy is a 3rd party standard of transferring audio between participating iOS apps (http://retronyms.com/audiocopy/). You can copy audio to and from individual loops, as well as from your recorded performances.
