In order to make the best possible use of this equipment, we recommend carefully reading the instructions set out in the following pages. Before using the player, please ensure that the local AC voltage is suitable for this unit. Disc types Audio Disc size 12CM/8CM Playback time: 74min/20min max (depending on the disc size). Disc maintenance - Before playback, wipe the disc from the center hole toward the outer edge with a clean cloth.
BEFORE USE Please read the following before operating the unit: - Choose the installation location of your unit carefully. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or close to a source of heat. Also avoid locations subject to vibrations and excessive dust, heat, cold or moisture. - The ventilation holes should not be covered. Make sure there is enough space above and beside the amplifier/receiver (about 4 inches). Do not place a CD player or other equipment on top of the amplifier/receiver.
INFRARED SENSOR FOR THE REMOTE CONTROL Note: • Even if the remote control unit is operated within the effective maximum range, remote control operation may be impossible if there are obstacles between the unit and the remote control. • If the remote control unit is operated near other appliances which generate infrared rays, or if other remote control devices using infrared rays are used near the unit, it may operate incorrectly.

CLOCK OPERATION To adjust the time, set the function selector to “CD/MP3/USB/SD” mode and make sure that the unit is not in playback mode. 1. 2. 3. 4. Press the “TIME SET” button. AUDIO CD/MP3 CD OPERATION Operating Audio CDs /MP3 CDs 1. Switch the function selector to “CD/MP3/USB/SD”. The unit will turn on automatically. 2. Press the “Open” button to open the CD door (“OP” and the clock appear on the display) • Place the disc on the disc tray, with the label facing up. • Hold the disc without touching either of its surfaces, align it with the guides and place it in the right position. 3. Close the CD door unit until it clicks (The disc will play automatically).
USB device/ MEMORY CARD OPERATION Operating a USB device or memory card 1. Switch the function selector to “CD/MP3/USB/SD” mode. The unit will turn on automatically. 2. Insert the USB Memory Device/Memory Card into the slot. 3. Press and hold down the “PLAY/PAUSE/USB” button for few seconds to enter USB Memory Device/Memory Card mode. 4. The USB Memory Device/Memory Card will play automatically.
TAPE OPERATION General Operation STOP / EJECT FAST FORWARD & FAST REWIND PLAY PAUSE RECORD Press to stop all current operations. Press again to open the cassette door. Press to start rapid tape winding either forwards or backwards. Press the “STOP/EJ. ” button to stop fast forward/fast rewind. Press to start playing a tape.
