The TNC connector has to be connected to one of the RXU500 RF ports. CAUTION: Always ensure that the RXU500 reader unit is switched off before connecting or disconnecting the antenna. Also, the antenna MUST be connected to the reader unit before it is switched on.

No regular servicing is required, except for keeping the unit clean.
