General Information and Maintenance
Battery Advice
The cradle battery should last about 6 months, up to 4 readings per day.
The battery for the cradle and OneTouch meter are the same type
Keep away from small children
Do not short circuit, recharge or dispose of in fire
Store in a cool, dry place before use
Maintenance and Calibration
Ther

refer to the One Touch Ultra manual for maintenance advice for the meter.
Faulty or Damaged Cradle
Should the cradle be damaged please contact the t+ diabetes customer suppor
t line on
0844 8000 167 for further advice.
Removing the battery from the cradle
1 Slide off the battery tray on the rear of the cradle and
remove the battery.
You do not need to remove the OneTouch meter from the
cradle to change the battery in either device.
Inserting a New Battery
1) place a 3V lithium battery (type CR2032) on the battery
tray. Ensure the top of the battery (with writing on) is
facing upwards.
2)
Slide the tray into the back of the cradle. Ensur
e that
the tray points are placed into the runners on the back
of the meter.
3) Press the tray into the back of the cradle until it clicks
into place and is flush with the back of the cradle..
