The packing holds the ventilator together in its place.
No need for screws if original air pipe is used.
The Velco ventilator can be mounted to all available fresh air
pipes. Cover plate is available as an accessory.
Function Instructions
The VELCO ventilator has a self contained temperature
sensitive and self regulating thermostat which regulates the
ventilator disc and adjusts the air gaps and the amount of
fresh air to the outdoor temperature. In the default setting, the
air supply decreases with falling outdoor temperature and
increases with rising outdoor temperature.
If the ventilator is in its default setting, the fresh air supply
decreases gradually down to about -5
o
C.
When the temperature rises, the ventilator opens gradually an
is fully open at about +10
o
C.
The ventilator setting can be adjusted to any ventilator
requirement. Simply turn the ventilator´s disc from its basic
position, clockwise if you want to close earlier and anti anti-
clockwise if you want it more open all the time.

A Turn the ventilator disc anti-clockwise and
screw it off.
B Mount spacing washers on the disc holder until the required
gap opening is achieved and then add 2 mm ( the cusps of
the washers should run in the groove of the disc holder).
C Sparing washers are available in 2 and 4 mm thickness
One 4 mm spacing washer gives 2 mm gap opening
One 4 mm and one 2 mm spacing washer gives
4 mm gap opening
D Turn the ventilation disc back to its default setting.
