Troubleshooting SD-PEX50055
Do not change any Motherboard BIOS SATA Configuration settings.
Check if there is a BIOS update available for the motherboard.
Remove and seat the card into a PCIe v2.0 x4/x8/or x16 slot.
Confirm that the card is seated into a PCI v2.0 slot to function as
advertised USB 3.0 5Gb/s and SATA III 6 Gb/s speeds.
If seated into a PCIe v1.0/1.1 slot, it will only be able to run with 1
channel which is 1.5-3Gb/s transfer speeds.
Assistance of 4pin floppy power feed is only necessary for USB 3.0
devices that require Power over USB 3.0 with no assistance of an AC power
adapter.
Windows:

This card should be recognized by the OS, but uses generic Windows AHCI
driver when installed automatically.
This card should be recognized in Device Manager.
You will need to install 2 drivers total. 1 for the USB 3.0 Ports (Etron
Folder) and 1 for the SATA ports (ASMedia)

Unzip/Extract all files.
Run the Setup.exe file in ASM106x > Windows.
It should be recognized in Device Manager as a "ASMedia 106x 6G
Controller" in the IDE ATA/ATAPI controller section
You can also install the ASM106x driver manually:
Navigate to Device Manager.
In the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers sections, find "Standard SATA AHCI
Controller"
Right-click and Update Driver Software.
Select: Browse my computer for driver software.
Select: Let me pick from list of device drivers on my computer.
Check in: Show compatible hardware.
Click Standard SATA AHCI Controller/ or all devices
