Proper handling of nanoSIM cards
This document explains installation and removal of nanoSIM cards into and from the transceiver.
This document contains warnings and other important information. Please be sure to read it before attempting the
procedures.
Open the slot cover by carefully sliding it in
the direction of the arrow. (1)
Carefully lift the slot cover. (2)
L Do not apply too much force against the slot
cover.
L Do not touch metal contacts of the nanoSIM
card with your nger.

Upside down the transceiver and remove the
4 screws, then remove the bottom cover.

Close the slot cover and slide it in the direction of
the arrow until it locks.
L Do not apply too much force against the slot cover.

If you insert 2 nanoSIM cards, repeat step 2 ~ 4.

Attach the bottom cover that was removed in
step 1, and tightenned it with the 4 screws.

Warning for handling the nanoSIM cards.
• To avoid damage from static discharge, touch a metal object such as a door knob or
a metal window sash to remove any static electricity that may be accumulated in your
body before handling the nanoSIM cards.
• Never directly touch the IC part (metal sections) of the nanoSIM, or the contacts in the
transceiver that connect to the nanoSIM card, with your nger.
• Observe the proper direction when inserting the card.
• Always carefully insert and remove the card.
• Do not apply too much force against the slot cover when the nanoSIM card is removed
or exchanged. If it is bent or damaged, a nanoSIM card cannot be used.
L If only one nanoSIM card is used, insert it to the SIM1 slot.
