Use only genuine Swissphone lithium polymer rechargeable batteries. It is activated automatically after a predetermined time if the key lock function is switched on. This can be switched on or off by means of the menu function Settings.

After two seconds the pre-alarming timer starts the count down. During the count down the confirmation key must hold pressed until the timer arrives at zero and on the display Emergency call initiated! appears. During the next approx. 20 seconds the emergency call is sent out to the control centre.

The first item to appear on the menu is generally Read latest message. The main menu can be scrolled upwards or downwards by pressing on the lower and upper scroll keys. By repeatedly pressing on the confirmation key a selection of items on the menu is obtained or else there is a change to the submenu that has been selected.

If Occupational safety is activated the function Deadman-Detection and Accident-Detection are activated, too. Deadman-Detection If the terminal is for approx. 30 seconds in horizontal position without any movement it starts a pre-alarm with a count down timer.

Without any reaction of the user during the count down an emergency call will be sent out and on the display Emergency call initiated! appears. During the next approx. 20 seconds the emergency call is sent out to the control centre. After finishing the transmission the display shows Emergency call sent.

In stand-by mode new, unread messages are displayed by new message!. Reading new messages A newly received message appears immediately on the display and an alarm given which depends on the alarm setting that is in use at the time. To stop the audible alarm, press any key.

The call memory function will be switched off as soon as the relevant message(s) has or have been read. Reading, deleting and saving messages Messages designated as read are filed in the Messages menu under Read Messages.

Message files The SWISSPHONE TRIO DE955 can be provided with up to two message files depending on how it has been programmed. They can not or must not be designated as read. This depends on the configuration of the corresponding receiver address (RIC). In the alarm menu the SWISSPHONE TRIO DE955 can be configured to Loud (loud alarm with vibration), Discrete (minibeep with vibrator), Mute (vibration only) and Off (visual display only).

For the remaining types of alarms, the arrival of priority messages will at first be announced by means of vibration and then using both sound and vibration. Using Snooze the alarm clock function is switched off for the time being, and will sound again after a certain time to wake you up again. As long as the repeat alarm function is active the alarm clock symbol flashes in the stand-by display. Using Stop the alarm clock is switched off for the whole day.

Backlight The display backlight can switched on or off. You will always be alerted of new messages with the display backlight switched on. Message font Choose between standard (four lines), small (five lines) or large (three lines).

Choose from Flashing with a beep, Beep only and Off. Out of range alarm Activate or deactivate the audible out of range alarm. Key click Activate or deactivate the sound of the keys. Confirmation tone Activate or deactivate the confirmation sound for inputs. Key vibration Activate or deactivate key vibration by scrolling through the menu.
