Battery Installation
Push button unit
1. Push button unit is operated by 1 x 3volt Lithium batteries (CR2032 - included)
2. The Lithium batteries (CR2032) have been installed, it is ready to use.
Replace the batteries.
- Remove the name plate holder, then remove the back of case by pushing in the tab on the bottom
with a small, flat screwdriver.
- Remove the locking screw from the battery fastener of the battery compartment.
- Insert 1 x 3volt Lithium batteries (CR2032 - included) in the battery compartment, ensuring the
battery polarity match the internal markings, then tighten the screw on the battery fastener to
hold the batteries firm in it’s compartment.
- Snap the front cover of push button back on, then it is ready to use.
Installation Guide
Push Button Unit: Using the two holes of the back of push button as a template, mark the fixing
position for the unit. Drill hole and fit wall plug and secure the Push Button Unit with screws
(self-tapping 3 x 16mm screw) in position, or by the double-sided self-adhesive pad (included), onto
your front door or the position nearby.
Important: Mounting the Push Button unit on the UPVC doorframes or metal surface will
reduce the broadcasting range seriously.
Melody Selection
The melody selector is located inside the Push Button unit, a small switch on the top left corner of
battery compartment marked with “S”. Press the switch once, the melody will change to play the
next one on the list, there are total 8 melodies for selection. The Push Button is pre-set to
“Westminster” therefore, if no change is required, it should not be adjusted.

Optional: You can purchase a further Push Button for installation at the back door, and adjust the
melody selector, so that push button at the front door will have a “Westminster” tone, and Push
Button at the back door will have another melody for identification.
