The request for the proper note in the USERS MANUAL. The first part of the note is not a problem as I understand it is
just the small NOTE: at the bottom (i.e. “NOTE: The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or TV interference
caused bvy unauthorized modifications to this equipment. Such modification could void the user’s authority to oeprate the
equipment.”)
I have emailed in this group another copy of the nEARcom Quickguide by Oticon. This short manual has the following
note:
NOTE: Do not modify this device. Regulatory approvals to use this equipment may be voided if you modify this
device.
This device contains a RF module with FCC ID: EOA-TM and IC: 6903A-TM
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undersired
operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could
void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
The Manufacturer feels that this verbage suffices for the note that you are requesting in the email.
