11. Cleaning / maintenance
11.1 Cleaning
Clean outer surfaces of product if necessary:
• With a dry, soft cotton cloth
• With a damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid or neutral cleaner
11.2 Servicing /
maintenance
The product is maintenance-free.
The clock continues to run for up to 72 hours after a power failure. In spite of this,
the time should be checked afterwards and set again if necessary using the MDU
programming unit.
The locking authorisations for the user keys are also retained after a power failure
and do not have to be reset.

NOTE
Damage to product due to incorrect cleaning!
> Do not use cleaners containing alcohol, organic solvents or thinners.
> Do not use abrasive materials.
> Do not use pressure or steam cleaning devices.
NOTE
Damage to product due to incorrect maintenance!
> Do not use lubricants.
> Do not carry out repairs.
> Contact the manufacturer in the event of damage / malfunctions.
> If parts have to be replaced, always use original replacement parts from
Häfele.
