TROUBLE SHOOTING Power switch on, but no power Record button cannot be pressed in • Check power to wall outlet. • Check AC cord connection to wall plug. • Cassette erase-protection tab is removed. Use another cassette or apply adhesive tape over tab hole. Power Indicator is on, but no sound from speakers Poor Recording • Check Function selector. • Check VOLUME setting. • Make sure headphones are not plugged in.

REMOTE CONTROL This unit comes with a Remote Control which allows the user to control certain system functions from a distance of up to 20 feet. The Remote Control requires two AAA batteries (not included). REMOTE CONTROL RANGE Remote Control Sensor NOTE : The Remote Control should always be aimed at the Remote Control Sensor on the unit for best performance. CONNECTIONS HEADPHONE JACK (PHONES) POWER CONNECTION REMOTE CONTROL This unit will accept stereo headphones (not included) with a 1/8" plug and an impedance of 16 ohms or greater. The speakers are automatically disconnected when headphones are connected to the PHONES jack. Connect the power cord to AC outlet only. SPEAKER JACKS Connect the SPEAKER PLUGS to the SPEAKER JACKS located on the rear of the unit.
TUNER Tuning: 1) Turn the unit "ON" using the POWER switch. 2) Select the TUNER function. 3) Set the BAND selector as desired. 4) Tune in the desired station using the Tuning UP/DOWN or SCAN UP button. If the FM ST. band was chosen, the FM STEREO indicator will light to indicate stereo received. To listen in Mono or to improve noisy, weaksignal stereo broadcasts, set the FM Mode selector switch to the MONO position. The STEREO indicator will go off and FM Mono is now received.

CASSETTE PLAYBACK (DECK B) (DECK A) Fast-Forward and Rewind The TAPE B is used for playback only. The TAPE A is used both for recording and playback. For fast winding or rewinding the tape, press the F.Fwd or REW button. Press the STOP/ EJECT button when the desired location has been reached. When the end of the tape has been reached, the reels will stop. Then the STOP/EJECT button should be pressed. Do not turn the unit off while the tape is running. Otherwise, the pinch roller may be damaged. 1.
DUBBING (DECK B) TO (DECK A) This unit enables you to duplicate a prerecorded tape to another tape by using the unit-in double deck mechanisms. It is performed only one way, from the DECK B (playback) to DECK A (recording). Do not expose this apparatus to dripping or splashing HANDLING COMPACT DISCS To remove a disc from its storage case, press down on the centre of the case and lift the disc out, holding it carefully by the edges. Fingerprints and dust should be carefully wiped off the disc's recorded surface with a soft cloth.
LOADING CDS 1) Press the POWER button to turn the unit on. 2) Select the CD FUNCTION button. The CD Disc tray will turn to check if any discs are present. If no discs are in the tray, NO DISC will appear in the display. 3) Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc compartment. The CD tray will open, exposing the right and left disc holders. The third disc holder will remain in the unit. To expose the third disc holder, press one of the DISC No. buttons.
PLAYING MP3 1) Press the FUNC. button to select CD-MP3 mode. 2) Press once to open the CD door (CD door wil open automatically) and place the MP3 disc with label /mark facing on the disc tray. “OPEN” appears on display. - Hold the disc without touching either of its surfaces position it with the printed title side faling up, align it with the guides, and place it in its proper position. 3) Close the CD door (“CD-MP3” flashing on display) 4) Press PLAY button once play start automatically from desire track.
PROGRAMMING THE TRACK FROM MORE THAN 1 DISC Programming the track from a different disc. Repeat the same procedure 1-4. Press the No. button to select the next disc. Repeat procedures 1-4 to program the next tracks. Continue entering tracks in this way until all the desired tracks are stored. 20 Tracks can be programmed in this way.
REPEAT DISC PLAY BY REMOTE CONTROL This function allows the operator to repeat a single track, all of the tracks of one CD or with all of the tracks on all 3 CD's. 1. INTRO BY REMOTE CONTROL Operates in STOP or PLAY mode 1. Press INTRO once, each song will play for 10 seconds. 2. Press INTRO twice to delete this function. Unit will resume normal play. SLEEP BY REMOTE CONTROL 1. Press SLEEP once, "SLEEP 90" will appear on LCD. This means unit will be stopped & turned to STAND BY mode in 90 minutes. Keep pressing SLEEP for about 5 seconds, "80, 70, 60, 50..." will appear on LCD to allow selection on the desired sleep time. 2. Press SLEEP twice to delete this function.
TRACK SKIP Starting disc play from the beginning of a particular track Press the Forward or Reverse SKIP/SEARCH buttons to select the desired track. The number of the selected track will be shown on the CD display. Press the PLAY/ PAUSE button to start play. To skip to the next track on a disc For example, to skip ahead to the beginning of track 2 while track 1 is playing. Press the FWD SKIP/SEARCH button. Disc play will resume at the beginning of track 2.
