Funktionsweise

um Sektionaltore oder

Learning the remote

control

In order to open, close or

stop the drive using the hand-

held remote control, the drive

has to "learn" the code first.

The radio code of the hand-

held remote control is trans-

mitted to the receiver (in the

drive). You can allocate a

desired remote button for

this.

 Switch on the the electrical

supply for a direct electri-

cal connection (switch on

the circuit breaker or fuse).

When the opener is first con-

nected to the mains supply,

the opener lighting blinks.

Learning the radio code

 Press the learn button (1)

in the controller housing.

The LED (Radio) lights up.

 Press a desired hand-held

remote control button (2).

The LED (Radio) flashes

briefly .

– When the LED (Radio)

lights up for a second,

Lighting function

In order to be able to switch

the lighting on the drive on or

off separately using the hand-

held remote control, a second

remote control button

function has to be "learned

in".

 Press the learn button (1)

in the controller housing

Other functions

Depending on the DIP switch

settings, other functions such

as “partial opening” or “defi-

ned operation” can be “lear-

ned in” to a second hand-

held remote in the same way.

Aborting the learn process

 Press the learn button (1)

in the controller housing

until no LED lights up.

If no radio code is received

within 10 seconds, the

learning process is inter-

rupted and has to be

started again if necessary.

Deleting a learned radio

code

 Press the learn button (1)

in the controller housing

for at least five seconds

until the LED (Radio)

blinks slowly.

trol button is deleted.

Deleting all learned radio

codes

 Press the learn button (1)

and hold it until

– the LED (Radio) initially

blinks for five seconds,

– and then slowly blinks

for ten seconds

– and subsequently blinks

quickly for ten seconds.

When the LED turns off,

all radio codes are dele-

ted.

If the learn button is

released prior to this,

the radio codes are not

deleted.

Store the remote control so

that an unintended operation

for example, by children or

animals is prevented.

Do not use the radio remote

control in areas with sensitive

radio communications or sys-

tems (for example: airports,

hospitals).

The remote has an integrated

clip so that you can carry it as

you would a pen in your shirt

pocket for example.

When closed, the remote

control is protected by a

stainless steel case so as to

prevent an unintended opera-

tion.

 To access the buttons,

slide the remote control

body (1) out of the stain-

less steel case (2). There

are detent positions for

each button (a total of

4 buttons).

 To close the remote con-

trol body (1), slide it into

the stainless steel case (2)

up to the stop position.

Opening, closing, and stop-

ping the door

In order to operate the drive

using the remote control, this

function first has to “learn”

the code of a particular

remote control. See “Pro-

gramming the hand-held

transmitter”.

 To open and close the

door, press the correspon-

ding button on the remote

control one time.

Depending on the starting

position, the door either

opens or closes. The

lighting switches on and

switches off by itself after a

period of time.

 To stop: press the corres-

ponding remote control

button once during the

open/close procedure.

The door stops. The next

press of the remote control

button causes the door to

move back to its

respective starting posi-

tion.

Turning the lighting on or

off

In order to be able to switch

the lighting on the drive on or

off separately using the hand-

held remote control, a second

remote control button has to

“learn” this function. See

“Programming the hand-held

transmitter”.

 Press the corresponding

remote control button one

time to switch on.

The lighting is switched on

and switches off automa-

tically after 180 seconds.

 Press the corresponding

remote control button one

time to switch on.

The lighting switches off. If

the lighting was automatic-

ally switched on during the

drive movement, it can

only be switched off after

the drive movement has

completed.

Replacing hand-held

transmitter battery

WARNING

There is the possible risk of

injury or death if you do not

observe and comply with

the following information.

Therefore, observe and

comply with all listed

instructions before hand-

ling the battery.

Do not store batteries where

children can reach them. A

child could play with them

and accidentally swallow a

battery. Call a doctor imme-

diately if a battery is acciden-

tally swallowed.

Pack the batteries individually

for storage or for disposal.

Batteries must never come

into contact with metal

objects, they can ignite,

discharge, or be damaged.

Only replace batteries with

the batteries specified in this

manual.

 Slide the remote control

body (1) out of the stain-

less steel case (2) up to

the stop position.

 Pull the remote control (1)

completely out of the stain-

less steel case (2) by app-

lying strong pressure at

the location indicated in

the diagram (3) (lug).

CR 2032, 3V

 Remove the battery (1)

from the retainer (2) and

install a new battery (type

CR 2032, 3 V) in the same

position. + side of the bat-

tery to the retainer base!

 Before putting back toget-

her, check whether the

battery was correctly inser-

ted:

 Press a button on the

remote control. The LED

must light up. If the LED

does not light up, the bat-

tery must be installed in

the opposite direction.

WARNING

There is a possible risk of

injury when assembling the

hand-held remote control.

You can pinch your fingers

when assembling. Proceed

carefully when inserting the

remote control body into the

stainless steel case.

 Slide the remote control

body (1) into the stainless

steel case (2) Press the

lug (3) downwards.

Placing out of ope-

ration and disposal

Remove the battery before

you take the remote control

out of service.

Please dispose of remote

control in an environmentally

proper manner according to

your local regulations.

Battery disposal

WARNING

Betätigen Sie den Handsen-

der nicht an funktechnisch

empfindlichen Orten oder

Anlagen (zum Beispiel: Flug-

hafen, Krankenhaus).

Der Handsender kann mit

dem integrierten Clip wie ein

Kugelschreiber zum Beispiel

in der Brusttasche aufbe-

wahrt werden.

Im geschlossenen Zustand

sind die Handsendertasten

von einer Edelstahlhülle

geschützt und können so

nicht versehentlich betätigt

werden.

 Um die Tasten freizuge-

ben, den Handsenderkör-

per (1) aus der Edelstahl-

hülle (2) schieben. Er

rastet bei jeder Taste ein

(insgesamt 4 Tasten).

 Zum Schließen den Hand-

senderkörper (1) bis zum

Anschlag in die Edelstahl-

hülle (2) schieben.

Tor öffnen, schließen und

stoppen

Damit Sie den Antrieb mit

dem Handsender betätigen

können, muss diese Funktion

auf einer bestimmten Hand-

sendertaste „eingelernt“ sein,

siehe „Handsender einler-

nen“.

 Zum Öffnen und Schließen

die entsprechende Hand-

sendertaste (zum Bei-

spiel 1) einmal drücken.

Je nach Ausgangsposition

öffnet oder schließt sich

das Tor. Die Beleuchtung

ist eingeschaltet und

erlischt nach einiger Zeit

von selbst.

 Zum Stoppen die entspre-

chende Handsendertaste

während des Öffnungs-

/Schließvorganges einmal

drücken.

Das Tor stoppt. Beim

nächsten drücken der

Handsendertaste fährt das

Tor in seine jeweilige Aus-

gangsposition zurück.

Beleuchtung ein- und aus-

schalten

Damit Sie die Beleuchtung

am Antrieb mit dem Handsen-

der separat ein- oder aus-

schalten können, muss diese

Funktion auf einer zweiten

Handsendertaste „eingelernt“

sein, siehe „Handsender ein-

lernen“.

 Zum Einschalten die ent-

sprechende Handsender-

taste einmal drücken.

Die Beleuchtung ist einge-

schaltet und erlischt nach

180 Sekunden von selbst.

 Zum Ausschalten die ent-

sprechende Handsender-

taste einmal drücken.

Die Beleuchtung erlischt.

Falls die Beleuchtung

während der Antriebsbe-

wegung automatisch ein-

geschaltet wurde, kann sie

auf diese Weise nur nach

der abgeschlossenen

Antriebsbewegung ausge-

schaltet werden.

Batterie im Hand-

sender wechseln

WARNUNG

Umgang mit Batterien

daher alle aufgeführten

Hinweise.

Bewahren Sie Batterien nicht

in Reichweite von Kindern

auf. Ein Kind könnte damit

spielen und versehentlich

eine Batterie verschlucken.

Suchen Sie sofort einen Arzt

auf, falls eine Batterie ver-

schluckt wurde.

Packen Sie Batterien zum

Lagern oder vor dem Weg-

werfen einzeln ein. Batterien

dürfen nicht mit anderen

metallischen Gegenständen

in Kontakt kommen, sie könn-

ten sich entzünden, entladen,

oder beschädigt werden.

Ersetzen Sie eine ver-

brauchte Batterie nur durch

den in dieser Anleitung ange-

gebenen Typ.

 Den Handsenderkörper (1)

bis zum Anschlag aus der

Edelstahlhülle (2) schie-

ben.

 Den Handsenderkörper (1)

ganz aus der Edelstahl-

hülle (2) ziehen, dazu an

der Stelle (3) kräftig drü-

cken (Rastnase).

 Die Batterie (1) aus der

Halterung (2) nehmen und

eine neue Batterie (Typ

CR 2032, 3 V) in gleicher

Position einsetzen. +-Seite

der Batterie zum Halte-

rungsboden hin!

 Vor dem Zusammenbauen

prüfen, ob die Batterie

richtig eingesetzt wurde:

 Eine Taste am Handsen-

der drücken, die LED

muss leuchten. Wenn die

LED nicht leuchtet, muss

die Batterie umgedreht

eingesetzt werden.

WARNUNG

Es besteht möglicherweise

Verletzungsgefahr beim

zusammenbauen des Hand-

senders.

Sie könnten sich beim

Zusammenbauen die Finger

einklemmen. Beim zusam-

menstecken von Handsen-

derkörper und Edelstahlhülle

vorsichtig vorgehen.

 Den Handsenderkörper (1)

in die Edelstahlhülle (2)

schieben, dazu die Rast-

nase (3) nach unten drü-

cken.

Außerbetriebnahme

und Entsorgung

Entfernen Sie die Batterie,

bevor Sie den Handsender

außer Betrieb nehmen.

Entsorgen Sie den Handsen-

der umweltgerecht, entspre-

chend den lokal gültigen Vor-

schriften.

Batterie entsorgen

WARNUNG

Wartung und Pflege

Handsender bei Bedarf mit

einem trockenen, fusselfreien

Tuch reinigen.

Zubehör

Halterung für Handsender

Mit Hilfe dieser Halterung

kann der Handsender im

Auto oder verliersicher an der

Innenwand der Garage auf-

bewahrt werden.
