SkyWay MAX Additional Compliance Statement (KA336WAN1, KA336WAN2)

FCC Operational Guidelines

The correct setting of the following SkyWay MAX BSU parameters are critical to

the correct operation of equipment in compliance with the rules detailed in 47 CFR 90

subpart Z (Wireless Broadband Services in the 3650–3700 MHz Band):

• Interference Threshold

• Contention Backoff

Any attempt to alter these parameters outside those permitted by the SkyWay-MAX

Manager software or the operator license could be a violation of that license. In

addition, operators are advised that, if necessary, the Federal Communications

Commission may require different values for some parameters in the field to permit

equitable sharing of the spectrum.
