USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Supplies needed:
Vacuum cleaner (with a wand if the vent cover has been installed on the ceiling
or upper wall)
Philips Screwdriver (to remove the vent to clean the inside face if necessary)
Stepladder (to reach vents that are on the ceiling)
Safety glasses to prevent dust from falling into eyes
(if vents are on the ceiling)
Damp rag with water
Dish soap or mild cleaner (for removing dirt and debris)
Isopropyl Alcohol (for tough stains, dirt, and debris)
Step 1: Inspect the air return vent cover. Make sure none of the screws are loose.
Step 2: Wipe with dampened rag to remove dirt and debris if necessary.
Step 3: For tougher stains and dirt, use a wet rag and dish soap or mild detergent to clean
the register.
Step 4: Isopropyl Alcohol can be used for tougher stains and dirt if necessary.
If necessary, use a philips screwdriver, remove the vent cover to access the inside face of
the register. Place the screws in a safe place for re-installing the cover after cleaning.
