Unpacking Instructions
Congratulations on your purchase of SmartFridge by Minibar Systems. We want
to ensure the best possible experience with our product so please follow these
instructions when you receive your SmartFridge.
 Ensure the box is in the upright position by checking the label on the
outside of the box
 Open the top of the box
 Lift the SmartFridge out of the exterior box with the straps and place in
upright position
 Cut the straps
 Lift the box straight up exposing the SmartFridge which sits on a base.
 Carefully lift the SmartFridge off the base and place on floor in upright
position
 Let the unit “settle” for 24 hours before plugging it in. This is extremely
important as the compressor oils and coolant were disrupted during
shipping and need to settle down before being warmed up and mixed
together in normal operation when plugged in. Note, if the unit is plugged
in before 24 hours, there is a high risk that the unit will not operate
properly as the oils and coolant will be mixed throughout the compressor.
