553-WZ SERIES
SPECIFICATION
Sioux Chief 553-WZ series Swivel J-Hanger™ DWV pipe hanger shall be used where
necessary to support drain, waste and vent pipes according to all national and
local code requirements. Hanger shall be corrosion proof and UV resistant. Hanger
material shall be impact resistant at 0°F with a maximum temperature rating of
140°F and allow for thermal expansion and contraction of the pipe.
Hanger shall swivel 360-degrees to support pipe from any direction. Rust resistant,
continuous ring shank nails shall be provided.
INSTALLATION
Refer to and follow national and local codes pertaining to pipe slope and DWV
hanger spacing. With nails provided, secure hanger to stud or joist. Lay pipe on top
of hook once cradle is positioned to correct direction of pipe run. Push pipe into
hanger cradle to secure.
