Getting Start for Using Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
1. Turn off the power of your computer. Before starting up, insert two AAA batteries into the mouse
and two AA batteries into the keyboard.
2. Connect the receiver’s purple keyboard cable to the computer’s keyboard port and the green cable to
the mouse port. Place the receiver about eight inches(20 cm) from any electrical devices to avoid
possible interference.
3. Start up the computer.
4. Place the driver CD in the CR-ROM. Click Next on all prompts and then click Finish. Follow the on
screen instruction, you may also need to insert your Windows 98 Second Edition CD and browse the
necessary files for complete installation.
5. Adjust the Channel assignment is the same from the Receiver to the keyboard and mouse. Press one
of the Windows keys and confirm customization launch. Move the mouse to confirm movement.
The ID setting for Wireless keyboard and mouse
The ID setting is to prevent the interference between two Keyboards and two Mouse when at the
same channel within interference range.
The Wireless Keyboard ID code
Each keyboard was assigned an unique ID code at manufacturing.
It prevents other Wireless keyboard radio signals from operating
on your computer. This feature can be disengaged from pressing
the ID Connect button on the Receiver to turn off the ID LED. It
will then allow other Wireless pointing devices to operate in your
computer when at the same channel.
