TUB SUPPLY
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before you begin, read the installation instructions below. Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
For the following installation instructions for your new tub supplies it is assumed that the water supply lines are in place
and directly accessible for installation.
Unpack and inspect for any shipping damages. If you nd any damages, do not install. Contact Customer Service at
1-866-855-2284. If you need assistance while installing your tub supplies, call our Customer Service number.
We recommend consulting a professional if you are unfamiliar with installing bathroom xtures and plumbing. Signature
Hardware accepts no liability for any damages to the oor, walls, plumbing or personal injury during installation.
TOOLS AND MATERIALS:
INSTALLATION
1. Place thread sealant or plumber's tape on the copper or threaded pipes at the nished oor.
2. Thread the supplies onto the copper or threaded pipes and press the decorative escutcheons into place.
Note: Use the appropriate length pipe nipple provided to adjust the height as necessary.
3. Apply thread sealant to the supply threads and connect the shut-off valves. Wipe away any excess sealant with a
damp cloth. Allow sealant to cure for 24 hours before use.
4. Hand tighten all threaded connections. Align the shut-off valve handles so that they are parallel with the tub rim and
facing out from the supply lines.
5. Wrap plumber's tape around the threads at the bottom of the upper supply sections.
6. Secure the upper supply sections to the shut-off valves.
Note: If your supplies feature wall supports, slide the support loops onto the upper sections before securing. Attach
the wall support brackets to the wall with the mounting hardware provided.
7. Close the shut-off valves and briey turn on the main water supply to check for leaks. If leakage occurs, tighten the
connections with an adjustable wrench as necessary. If problems persist, contact Customer Service.
8. Install the tub faucet according to the faucet installation instructions.
