FUNCTION / DISPLAY INDICATORS FUNCTION / DISPLAY INDICATORS

1. Message Protected : Message is saved

2. Service Area Indicator : Antenna symbol indicates that the pager is within

the service area.

3. Duplicated Message : If you receive a page and that same page is already within

your pager, the duplicated message symbol will be displayed

4. Auto Power ON/OFF : The pager shuts automatically on and off at the

selected time of the user

5. Alarm : The pager will alert you at the time the user has selected.

6. Alert Mode : There are four kinds of alerts.

1) Sound alert : five kinds of Short beep tones

2) Silent

3) Melody : Audio alert

4) Vibration

7. Low Battery : It needs replacement if battery level is low

8. Message Continuation : When the message is longer than 12 characters the

message continuation symbol is displayed.

RECEIVING AND READING MESSAGESRECEIVING AND READING MESSAGES

- When a message is received, your pager alerts for eight seconds and received

message is displayed on the corner of screen for 10 seconds.

- That number indicates how many numeric messages were received.

- Your pager ca display up to 12 numeric characters on the screen and receive each

message 20 characters.

- When a message is received

1) Press any button to stop the alert or vibration.

2) Press the read button to display the time message is received.

3) Press the read button again to display message

4) When the message is longer than twelve characters

Press the read button again in order to receive the whole message.

MESSAGE CONTINUATIONMESSAGE CONTINUATION

1) When the numeric message is longer than 12 characters, the message

continuation symbol is displayed.

Press the read button again to receive the whole message.

UNREAD MESSAGES / NO PAGES / TONE ONLYUNREAD MESSAGES / NO PAGES / TONE ONLY

If the messages are unread "UNREAD" will be displayed with the number of

unread messages(ex. 01, 02, 03, etc.) 2) No Page If no messages are received, "NO PAGES" is displayed for one second when you press read button. DUPLICATED MASSAGES - If a new message is received and is exactly the same as a message already in memory, the duplicated symbol is displayed to indicate that. MISSED CALL When you receive the numeric message "MISS CALL" indicate how many messages are missed. If there is no missed call, "NO MISSED" will be displayed.

1) To enable the alarm - From the standby screen, press mode button for two seconds to select function mode. - Press mode button until "SET ALARM" will be displayed. - Press read button until "OFF" will be displayed with flash. - Press mode button and "ON" will be displayed with the symbol. - At this point, the hour digits will flash after pressing the read button - Set the time of alarm in the same as that of time setting.

PAGER ON/OFF 1) Self test : The pager is automatically tested with an alert tone and vibration into the pager 2) Pager ON from the OFF screen On the pager off screen, pressing read button for more than 2 seconds will turn your pager on. 3) Turning your pager OFF - From the standby screen, press mode button for two seconds - Press mode button until "PAGER OFF" is displayed. - Press read button and then "SURE" is displayed and press read button again to turn your pager off.
