Using the Cassette Adapter The VHS compact video cassettes recorded with the VL-C73SA can be played back with a standard VHS machine by using the provided YR-72CA Cassette Adapter. {A compact video cassette installed in the cassette adapter is fully compatible with a standard VHS machine for goth retarding and playback.} Inserting the Battery into the Cassette Adapter. The VR-72CA Cassette Adapter is battery operated by one “AA” battery. Remove the battery cover by sliding it up.

AC/Car Battery Power Supply Car Battery Turbocharger (optional accessory) To charge the battery pack or power the Camcorder in a car, use the optional VR-F78CH Car Battery Charger. Using the Battery Pack THE BATTERY PACK IS UNCHARGED WHEN SHIPPED. IT MUST BE CHARGED BEFORE USE. To attach the Battery Pack 1, Align the <« mark on the battery pack with that on the Camcorder. 2. Playback The VL-C73SA can playback VHS-C cassettes you have recorded. They can be played back on the viewfinder ora TV Attach a Battery Pack or use a Power Adapter. Still Press the PAUSE/STILL bunion during playback to still the picture — the indicator will light. To resume playback, press the PAUSE/STILL button again. PAUSE/ STILL o if the TV pictures rolls vertically, adjust the TV vertical half control. To protect the tape, the Camcorder releases the tape tension and resumes playback when left finger than 5 minutes in STILL during playback. Using the Tape Counter The 4-digit display acts as a handy reference to help you locate specific scenes.
Connection to TV To playback tapes recorded with your Camcorder on your TV, connect the supplied VR-S73RF RF Converter between your TV and the Camcorder. Connection to normal TV. To ANTENNA IN coaxial cable I (supplied) The supplied RF converter permits playback of video/audio signals through a normal TV. The RF converter is factory set to UHF CH.
