SD-AS10W System installation ENGLISH " Placing the speaker system The best surround effect will be achieved by placing each speaker at the same distance from the listening position. It is recommended to arrange the speakers as shown below.
Main unit preparation SD-AS10W ENGLISH E Make sure to unplug the AC power lead before installing the main unit or change the position. Select from three installation methods according to the location. For position A or B, make sure to use the included main unit stand. Otherwise the unit may fall. SD-AS10W System connections ENGLISH Make sure to unplug the AC power lead before making any connections. TV connection (see page 16) Connect a TV and main unit with the included video cable. If your TV is equipped with an S-video input socket or component video input sockets, purchase an appropriate cable to enjoy higher quality images.
Aerial connection " Connecting the system connection cable Connect the main unit and amplifier unit as follows. Amplifier unit Connect the FM aerial wire to the FM 75 OHMS socket and position the FM aerial wire in the direction where the strongest signal can be received. To prevent accidental short circuits between and terminals, connect the speaker wires to the speakers first and then to the unit. Connect the speaker and the unit by matching the colours. 1 Connect the wires to the speakers. ! The supplied speakers are designed exclusively for the SD-AS10W. Do not connect these speakers to other equipment.
TV connection SD-AS10W ENGLISH Connecting to a TV with component video input sockets Connect the optional S-video cable or component video cable for higher quality DVD images. For the component video cable, the progressive video mode is available and you can enjoy images with less flicker (default setting: PROGRESSIVE OFF). See page 24 for details.

SD-AS10W Setting the timer ENGLISH The unit starts playback or turns on the radio at a specified time. This unit has 2 types of timer functions: "once timer" and "daily timer". Before setting timer: 1 Set the clock (see page 20). If the clock is not set to the correct time, the timers do not work properly. Once timer: 3 2 Prepare a source to play back.
