Remove: 1. all packing materials from inside the oven cavity; however, DO NOT REMOVE THE WAVEGUIDE COVER, which is located on the ceiling in the oven cavity. I N F O R M AT I O N Y O U N E E D T O K N O W ABOUT YOUR OVEN Condensation is a normal part of microwave cooking. Room humidity and the moisture in food will influence the amount of moisture that condenses in the oven. Generally, covered foods will not cause as much condensation as uncovered ones. Ventilation openings must not be blocked. This Operation Manual is valuable: read it carefully and always save it for reference.
I N F O RM A T I O N Y O U N E E D T O K N O W ABOUT MICROWAVE COOKING • Arrange food carefully. Place thickest areas towards outside of dish. • Rearrange foods such as meatballs halfway through cooking both from top to bottom and from the center of the dish to the outside. • Watch cooking time. Cook for the shortest amount of time indicated and add more as needed. Food severely overcooked can smoke or ignite. • Add standing time. Remove food from oven and stir, if possible.

Many pieces already in your kitchen can be used successfully in your new microwave convection oven. The chart below will help you decide what utensils and coverings should be used in each mode.

B E F O R E O P E R AT I N G • Before operating your new microwave oven make sure you read and understand this operation manual completely. 3 • Before the oven can be used, follow these procedures: Touch CLOCK pad. • If the electrical power supply to your microwave oven should be interrupted, the display will intermittently show WELCOME PRESS CLEAR AND PRESS CLOCK after the power is reinstated. If this occurs during cooking, the program will be erased. The time of day will also be erased.
MANUAL MICROWAVE OPERATION HOOD LIGHT/ HOOD FAN TO SET POWER LEVEL Your oven is equipped with a Hood Light and a Hood Fan which can be used whether the door is open or closed. There are eleven preset power levels. Using lower power levels increases the cooking time which is recommended for foods such as cheese, milk and long slow cooking of meats. Consult cookbook or recipes for specific recommendations. To turn the Hood Light on, touch the LIGHT pad once.

When sensor detects the vapor emitted from the food, remainder of cooking time will appear. Door may be opened when remaining cooking time appears on display. At this time, you may stir or season food, as desired.

The oven will start automatically. Any sensor setting can be programmed with More/Less Time Adjustment. See page 24. • Suppose you want to pop a 3.5 oz bag of popcorn. O T H E R C O N V E N I E N T F E AT U R E S KITCHEN TIMER MULTIPLE SEQUENCE COOKING • Suppose you want to time a 3 minute long distance phone call. The oven can be programmed for up to 4 automatic cooking sequences for the microwave mode and 3 automatic cooking sequences for convection mode, switching from one setting to another automatically. PROCEDURE 1 Sometimes cooking directions tell you to start on one power level and then change to a different power level. Your oven can do this automatically.

CLEANING AND CARE Exterior Turntable/Turntable Support The outside surface is precoated metal and plastic. Clean the outside with mild soap and water; rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any type of household or abrasive cleaner. The ceramic turntable and turntable support can be removed for easy cleaning. Wash them in mild, sudsy water; for stubborn stains use a mild cleanser and scouring sponge as described above. They are also dishwasher-safe using top rack.
CLEANING AND CARE FAN CHARCOAL FILTER The fan will automatically start when heat rises from range surface units or burners and when convection, high mix, low mix or the broil settings are used. This protects the microwave oven from excessive temperature rise. The fan will stay on until the temperature decreases. It cannot be turned off manually during this time. Charcoal Filter, Sharp Part Number RK-220 is used for No-vented, recirculated installation.

OPÉRATION MANUELLE lAMPE/VENTIlATEuR dE HoTTE Pour employer KEEP WARM comme programme séparé, appuyez sur KEEP WARM pendant la première minute après le début de cuisson, l’ouverture ou fermeture de la porte, ou une appuyez sur STOP/ CLEAR. Le four comporte une lampe et un ventilateur de hotte qui fonctionnent que la porte soit ouverte ou fermée. Pour activer la lampe, touchez une fois sur LIGHT. Pour l’éteindre, appuyez sur LIGHT à nouveau.

START TOUCH ON • Pour décongeler un bifteck de 2 livres : MARCHE À SUIVRE 1 COMPU DEFROST x 3 BIFTECK POIDS 5 Appuyez sur une fois sur COMPU DEFROST. Appuyez sur ensuite deux fois de plus sur COMPU DEFROST pour la sélection STEAK. 2 2 0 START TOUCH ON Après la deuxième étape, ouvrez la porte. Protégez toute partie chauffée.

En cas de telle interruption, la cuisson par capteur s’interrompt avec l’affichage de ERREUR . Pour reprendre la cuisson, appuyez sur STOP/CLEAR et sélectionnez le temps de cuisson ainsi que le niveau. Lorsque le capteur détecte les vapeurs émises par les aliments, le temps de cuisson encore nécessaire apparaît l’affichage.

LAISSER REPOSER COUVERT apparaît à l’affichage après la cuisson. Le four comporte des capteurs instantanés pour popcorn et réchauffage. Pour s’en servir, il suffit de toucher leurs commandes afin que le four démarre automatiquement. Tout réglage de capteur peut se programmer avec des ajustement de plus ou moins de temps. Les recettes recommandent parfois de commencer la cuisson à un certain niveau de puissance pour passer ensuite à un autre niveau, ce que votre four peut accomplir automatiquement.

Nettoyez l’extérieur à l’eau et au savon doux; rincez et séchez avec un linge doux. N’employez aucun produit de nettoyage de ménage ou produit abrasif. Des odeurs de cuisine peuvent éventuellement persister dans le four. Pour les éliminer, mélangez le jus et l’écorce râpée d’un citron et quelques clous de girofle, avec une tasse d’eau dans un récipient de deux tasses.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN VENTIlATEuR FILTRE À CHARBON Le ventilateur se déclenche automatiquement sous l’effet de la chaleur montant de la cuisinière, ou celle des cuissons en mode convection, combiné fort ou faible niveau, ou grillade. Le four à micro-ondes est ainsi protégé contre toutes températures excessives. Le ventilateur continue à fonctionner jusqu’à réduction de la température, et ne peut pas être arrêté manuellement entre-temps.
