Whilst recording, additional track numbers can be created at any point by pressing the REC button. ● One track number will be added. ● If you press the BASS button on the remote control, you can create your own track number.

MIC SYNC H : Recording starts when the unit detects –24 dB or more (The unit can start recording from quiet sounds). MIC SYNC L : Recording starts when the unit detects –12 dB or more.
Recording from a Microphone : continued Useful Features Track intervals When recording from the microphone, track numbers will be created automatically at regular intervals (default setting: approximately every 5 minutes). During a mic synchro recording, the unit pauses when a silence lasts for 3 seconds or more, and creates a track number. Changing intervals between tracks When a recording is paused or whilst recording… Press the EDIT button repeatedly. Example: Set to “5 minutes”.
Advanced playback Useful Features To locate the desired portion For audible fast forward: Press and hold down the 4 button during playback. For audible fast reverse: Press and hold down the 5 button during playback. ● Normal playback will resume when the 5 or 4 button is released. To locate the beginning of a track To move to the beginning of the next track: Press the 4 button during playback. ● When the end of the last track is reached during fast forward, the unit will enter the pause mode.

Hold Function Useful Features The present operation condition can be kept even if other buttons are accidentally pressed in a place such as a crowded train. Advanced Features Titling a MiniDisc : continued Stamping titles from another MiniDisc Before stamping Master MiniDisc operation When there are 2 MiniDiscs on which the same tracks are recorded, you can transfer the character information (disc and track names) of the Master MiniDisc to another MiniDisc (for stamping). 1. What is a master MiniDisc? A recordable MiniDisc that contains tracks and character information. (You can not transfer the information from a playback-only MiniDisc.

Notes: ● If the total number of tracks on the master MiniDisc does not match that on the MiniDisc for stamping, the unit will display "Can't STAMP" and turn off the power. If this happens, adjust the total number of tracks on the newly recorded MiniDisc using the edit operation.

Total number of tracks that can be divided: ● Each disc can hold up to 255 tracks.
