Preparation Installing Batteries in the Remote Control Before using the LCD TV set for the first time, install the two AAA batteries supplied in the remote control. When the batteries become depleted and the remote control fails to operate, replace the batteries with new AAA batteries. 1 Open the battery cover. ■ Raise the cover while pressing the ([) part. 2 Insert two AAA batteries. ■ Position the positive and negative ends of the batteries as indicated in the compartment.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON DISENGAGING ADVANCED CHILD LOCK If you have forgotten your personal code number and cannot disengage ADVANCED CHILD LOCK, follow the procedure below. 1.
