The following functions have been added for the PROGRAMMING FOR EURO. So, please read this supplement
carefully for additional functions.
Please read your instruction manual for details about the PROGRAMMING FOR EURO.
Additional function 1
Conversion of the preset unit prices of Dept./PLU when you change the currency to EURO
When you make the automatic modification operation for EURO (#800) in the X2/Z2 mode with the substitution
of 2 or 3 for “A” (i. e. when the domestic currency is changed to EURO), the preset unit prices of all the
departments/PLUs will be converted automatically into the ones in EURO currency.
The conversion rate applied for this automatic conversion is the preset rate of the
e
key, and the conversion
method is set to “division”.
(Please read your instruction manual for details about the automatic modification operation for EURO on pages
37 and 38.)
However, if you have already made the operation with the substitution of 2 for “A”, and you make the operation
with the substitution of 3 for “A”, the automatic conversion of unit prices of Dept./PLU will not be made.
When the automatic conversion has been made, the message “PRICE CONVERTED” will be printed as follows.
Important note
As for the miscellaneous keys, such as
-
and
%
keys, and for the HALO setting, the automatic conversion
will not be made. You need to change the % rates or amounts in the PGM mode after the execution of the
automatic modification operation for EURO so that they are based on amounts in EURO.
You can program in the PGM mode not to convert the preset unit prices of Dept./PLU automatically. In this
case, change the preset unit prices by each programming in the PGM mode after the execution of the automatic
modification operation.
Additional function 2
Setting the date and time when the automatic modification operation for EURO should be executed
Selection of compulsory/non-compulsory of execution of the automatic modification operation for EURO
You can program the scheduled date and time to execute the automatic EURO modification operation (#800 in
the X2/Z2 mode).
From ten days before the preset date, the remaining days are printed at the bottom of the daily full resetting (Z1)
report as follows.
When the above-mentioned preset date and time has come, and also when you start an entry in the REG/MGR
mode, the error message “ ” is displayed. You cannot make any operation in the REG/MGR mode until
you execute the automatic modification operation for EURO (job #800) in the X2/Z2 mode.
You can program so that you can make entries in the REG/MGR mode even when the error message is
displayed.
Date and time setting will be reset after the execution of the automatic modification operation and you can
program again the date and time for the next automatic modification operation.
