Pairing camera Step 1 Download the Night Owl Protect app. Note: You need register a Night Owl account before you can log in. Ensure that your cell phone is on the Wi-Fi network. Step 2 Short press the power button to turn on the camera. And the camera give a voice prompt “Device is ready for use”. Step 3 Camera continues to a voice prompt “Camera is in pairing mode”. And add a camera according to the app’s prompt in Night Owl app.
Mounting camera Step 1 Use the provided anchors and screws to mount the wall mount base. If the wall is wooden, you can screw the mount directly. Step 2 Attach your camera to the camera base and secure it by rotating clockwise.
Step 3 Adjust the camera's view angle to your preferred position. Note: 1. Avoid installing the camera with the camera lens facing direct sunlight. 2. Mind any plants or objects that may obstruct the view. 3. We suggest you mount the camera within a 30 feet range of your Wi-Fi router. Keep the camera close to the router and camera will have better performance. Notice 1. Please make sure to fully charge the included battery before use the camera. 2. Extreme weather conditions will affect battery efficiency.
