Important The HD-Link is designed to work over a single cable only. It will not work over a network or through a router or switch. If you need network functionality then look at the HD-Link Pro or HD-Link Ctrl extenders. For best results use only solid copper Cat6 cables such as the PureRun Link cables designed specifically for Cat6 extenders. Many Cat6 and Cat5e cables are Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA). CCA cables may not be able to handle the higher bandwidth requirements of the HD-Link.

Installation Instructions 1. Connect your HDMI source (Blu-ray player, game console, or computer) to the Sender unit with a standard HDMI cable. 2. Connect your HDMI Display (TV, projector, or monitor) to the Receiver Unit with a standard HDMI Cable 3. Connect the sender and receiver unit with a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable up to 200 feet in length. Note: We recommend using pure copper cat6 such as our PureRun Link cable whenever possible.
Troubleshooting Power Cycle: Unplug the power from the sender and receiver. Turn off the source and display. Wait 30 seconds then turn on the TV then the source followed by the sender and receiver units. Try a temporary test with shorter cables Test your Cat6 Cable Note: The HD Link uses more of the Cat6 cable than a standard internet connection. Your cable might work to connect a computer to the internet, but not work with the HD-Link extender.
Safety When using the HD-Link extender, avoid temperature extremes, moisture, excessive dust, and any corrosive or oxidative environments.
