For conformity, consistency and compatibility reasons, we strongly recommend upgrading the sys-

tem to the new release.

Features

• Implementation of AES 256 encryption for the wireless links

• New entries in the receiver’s menu for transmitter conﬁguration:

· Trim

· LED functionality

· Low cut

· Cable emulation

· Auto lock of transmitter buttons

· Sync parameters

The sync parameter menu entry offers the possibility to select which parameters should be

synchronized to the transmitter. If a parameter is deactivated, a change of this parameter

will not be synchronized to the transmitter

• Additional home screen with ﬁrmware information of receiver and transmitters (scroll to the

right from home screen)

• Improved bargraph layout

• Bug ﬁx: The link local address was changed after updating the ﬁrmware. This bug has been

ﬁxed.

• Other bug ﬁxes and optimizations

Known Issues

• After performing an update, the “Manual” IP mode is not working correctly. Set it to “Auto” once

and then change it back to “Manual” again to ﬁx this.

• The AF peak warning is not displayed in the receiver’s display

• The EW-DX ﬁrmware update requires the Sennheiser Control Cockpit software or the

Sennheiser Wireless Systems Manager software:
