Operating Instructions
iPod RF receiver setup:
Plug RemoteTunes into the dock connector located on the bottom of your iPod
and WAIT 30 seconds. A self-diagnostic will automatically run and your
wireless remote will be ready for operation once the process is complete. To
sync or charge the iPod, simply plug your charging cable into the bottom of the
RemoteTunes receiver while it’s connected to the iPod.
Advanced Low Power Mode (ALPM):
RemoteTunes uses an advanced power down mode which minimises current draw on your
iPod battery if you are not connected to a constant power source. After 20 minutes of
sensing no music playing or no remote commands being sent, the RemoteTunes goes into
a battery saving mode. The RemoteTunes receiver will automatically re-power itself when it
detects music playing or when a remote button is pressed for more than 0.6 seconds.
