Getting your toes wet with SEAL SwimSafe.
What is SEAL SwimSafe?
SEAL SwimSafe is a swim monitoring device that detects if a swimmer is submerged for too long. The
system includes a hub, at least 2 SwimSafe bands and a charging tower. SwimSafe bands are worn
around a swimmer’s neck.
How does it work?
The SEAL SwimSafe system uses patented radio wave technology to continually monitor swimmers. The
monitoring happens through communication between the hub and SwimSafe bands. The two devices
communicate continually to ensure a swimmer is safe. If the swimmer is submerged below water more
than the set amount of time, communication between the band and hub will stop, and set off an alarm.
Once the alarm sounds, other swimmers should immediately get out of the pool and lifeguards or parents
should rescue the swimmer who is in distress.
