Additional Features:
The train can be operated without the remote control (See Diagram 14):
1. Turn the bell in clockwise direction to activate the train (See Diagram 14)
2. Press the "Forward" button (See Diagram 14), the train will go forward only. Turn the bell in
counter-clockwise direction to switch off the train.
Hints for Better Performance:
- DO NOT run the train before reading the operating instructions.
- DO NOT operate unless all wheels are on the tracks.
- DO NOT forget to lubricate the locomotive wheels and cars after running for an extended period of time.
- DO NOT forget to keep locomotive wheels and tracks clean and free of oil and dirt.
- IF THE TRAIN FAILS TO OPERATE OR BEGINS TO SLOW DOWN:
- Replace the batteries,
- Check positioning of batteries,
- Adjust metal contacts to assure proper contact with batteries.
Care of Locomotive, Cars and Tracks:
1. Lubricate car wheels with a few drops of household oil.
2. After oiling, wipe the wheels with a dry cloth to remove dirt and oil, as surface of wheels must be clean and
dry to run properly.
3. Be sure that each wheel is free of dirt.
4. Keep the track clean by wiping the rails with a dry cloth to remove any oil or dirt. This provides better traction
and assures more efficient operation.
BATTERY CAUTIONS
1. For maximum performance, use alkaline batteries
2. Do not mix old and new batteries
3. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries
4. Do not recharge non-rechargeable battery
5. Ensure batteries are inserted with the correct polarity
6. Remove batteries when toy is not in use
7. Remove exhausted batteries from toy and dispose of in accordance with the makers recommendation
8. Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision or by children at least 8 years old.
9. Remove rechargeable batteries from toy before charging
10. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited
11. The antenna wires are not to be inserted into socket outlet.
Operation of Train:
1. Make sure all wheels of the train are properly placed on the tracks following step 1, 2. (See Diagram 10)
2. Pull the train forward and backward to check the connection of the locking joints. (See Diagram 11)
3. After battery installation in remote control, LED of the remote control will light up whenever any button
is pressed.
4. Turn the bell in clockwise direction to activate the train. (See Diagram 12) Also, the headlight will be
on while the train is in "POWER ON" position.
5. Press the "FORWARD" button of remote control to start. The train will go forward. (See Diagram 13)
6. Press the "STOP" button of remote control to make the train stop. (See Diagram 13)
7. Press the "REVERSE" button of the remote control and the train will go backward. (See Diagram 13)
8. Press the "SOUND" button of the remote control to activate the whistling sound on the train.
(See Diagram 13)
9. The train will run with the headlights on.
10. Replace the batteries if the headlight becomes dim.
Try Me Unit:
Try Me button box is for demonstration purpose only. Dispose of this unit by detaching the wires
connecting to the locomotive and cars before playing.

1. Assemble the sections of the tracks by snapping the ends of each track section securely into another.

Battery Loading:
(FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE, USE ALKALINE BATTERIES.)
Remember to take out all batteries from the train after playing.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Replace with all new batteries if train slows down or if there is sound distortion.
How to Install Battery:
FOR LOCOMOTIVE:
1. Unscrew to open the battery cover. (See Diagram 1 and 2)
2. Insert 4 x “C” batteries by matching the (+) and (–) signs as indicated in the battery compartment.
(See Diagram 3)
3. Replace the battery cover. (See Diagram 4)
BOX CAR (FOR LIGHT UP FUNCTION)
- Unscrew to open the battery cover. (See Diagram 5)
- Insert 3 x AA batteries as indicated inside following the (+)(–) polarity. (AA batteries are not included)
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure the battery cover.
FOR HANDSET REMOTE CONTROL :
1. Unscrew to open the battery case cover at the back of the remote control and put 2 x AAA batteries inside.
(See Diagram 6)
2. Close the battery case cover.
*NOTE : REMOVE ALL BATTERIES AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED PLAYING YOUR TRAIN SET.
(ESPECAILLY FOR HANDSET REMOTE CONTROL.)

Características adicionales:
El tren puede funcionar sin el remont control. (Vea el diagrama 14):
1. Para activar el tren gire la campana hacia la derecha (vea el diagrama 14)
2. Presione el botón “AVANZAR” (vea el diagrama 14), el tren avanzará únicamente hacia adelante.
Para apagar el tren gire la campana hacia la izquierda.
CONSEJOS PARA LOGRA UN MEJOR FUNCIONAMIENTO:
- NO encienda el tren antes de leer el manual de instrucciones.
- NO encienda el tren a menos que todas las ruedas estén sobre la vía.
- NO olvide lubricar las ruedas de la locomotora y los vagones después de utilizar el tren por un largo periodo.
- NO olvide mantener las ruedas de la locomotora y las vías férreas limpias y libres de aceite y polvo.
- SI EL TREN NO FUNCIONA O COMIENZA A DESACELERARSE:
- Reemplace las baterías
- Verifique la posición de las baterías
- Ajuste los contactos metálicos para asegurarse de que están haciendo contacto con las baterías.
Cuidados para la locomotora, vagones y vías férreas:
1. Lubrique las ruedas de los vagones con unas gotas de aceite de cocina.
2. Después de lubricarlas, límpielas con un trapo seco para remover la suciedad y el aceite. Esto propiciará
una mejor tracción y un funcionamiento más eficiente.

PRECAUCIONES CON LAS BATERÍAS
1. Para obtener el máximo desempeño, utilice baterías alcalinas.

4. No recargue las baterías que no son recargables.

Funcionamiento del tren:
1. Asegúrese que todas las ruedas del tren estén colocadas correctamente en las vías siguiendo los pasos 1, 2.
(Vea el diagrama 10)
2. Jale el tren hacia adelante y atrás para verificar la conexión de las uniones (vea el diagrama 11)
3. Una vez instalada la batería en el remont control, la bombilla LED del remont control se iluminará cada vez
que se presione un botón.
4. Para activar el tren, gire la campana en el sentido de las agujas del reloj (vea el diagrama 12). La luz frontal
del tren se encenderá mientras el tren esté encendido.
5. Para iniciar el movimiento, presione el botón “AVANZAR” del remont control. El tren avanzará hacia
adelante. (Vea el diagrama 13)
6. Para detener el tren, presione el botón “DETENER” del remont control. (Vea el diagrama 13)
7. Para hacer que el tren camine en reversa, presione el botón “REVERSA” del remont control. (Vea el diagrama 13)
8. Para activar el sonido del tren presione el botón “SONIDO” del remont control. (Vea el diagrama 13)
9. El tren funcionará con la luz frontal encendida.
10. Reemplace la batería si la luz frontal del tren comienza a perder fuerza.
Unidad de Prueba:
La caja con el boton de prueba es sólo para fines de demostración. Deshágase de esta unidad
desconectando los cables de conexión que van a la locomotora y a los carros antes de jugar.

Montaje De Los Railes
1. Ensamble las secciones de la pista encajando los extremos de cada sección firmemente una sobre la

Cambio de las baterías
(PARA OBTENER EL MÁXIMO DESEMPEÑO, UTILICE BATERÍAS ALCALINAS)
Después de utilizar el tren, recuerde sacarle todas las baterías.
- No mezcle baterías nuevas con usadas.
- Utilice solo un tipo de baterías, no mezcle alcalinas con estándar (carbón-zinc), o recargables.
- Si el tren funciona lento o si hay distorsión en el sonido, cambie todas las baterías por nuevas.
Cómo instalar las baterías:
PARA LA LOCOMOTORA:
1. Desatornille la tapa para abrirla. (Vea los diagramas 1 y 2)
2. Inserte 4 baterías tipo “C” haciéndolas coincidir con los signos de polaridad (+) o (–) ubicados en el
compartimento de las baterías. (Vea el diagrama 3)
3. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de las baterías. (Vea el diagrama 4)
VAGÓN DE TREN (PARA ACTIVAR LUCES)
- Con ayuda de un destornillador retire la cubieta para las pilas. (Vea el diagrama 5)
- Inserte 3 pilas tipo “AA” asegurándose de colocar correctamente la polaridad de las mismas (+ y –)
(pilas tipo “AA” no incluidas)
- Vuelva a colocar la cubierta de las pilas y atornille hasta ajustar nuevamente.
PARA EL REMONT CONTROL MANUAL:
1. Desatornille la tapa para abrirla, ubicada en la parte trasera del remont control, y coloque de 2 pilas
tipo “AAA”. (Vea el diagrama 6)
2. Cierre la tapa de la batería.
*NOTA: REMUEVA TODAS LAS BATERÍAS UNA VEZ QUE HAYA TERMINADO DE UTILIZAR EL TREN.
