REMOTE CONTROLLER
INTRODUCTION
RC-3 is a remote controller, which controls LS-30 Base Unit remotely. Thanks to
using hopping-code technology, it is highly secure.
There are four buttons on RC-3, as shown below
Disarm: To disarm the system.
Away: To arm the system.
Home: To arm the system partially. Burglar sensors with Inactive Home
Mode attribute are disabled.
Panic: To activate panic alarm.
INSTALLATION
Select “Installer Mode” on the Base Unit, and enter Installer Password to gain
access authority. Then select \Set Device\Enroll Device\Controller\Enter Zone No.
to enroll the ID of RC-3 by pressing its DISARM button. You may change its
various attributes under \Set Device\Change Device Setting\Controller Change, to
fulfill different requirements.
Remarks: If an RC-3 is set with Latchkey attribute ON, the Base Unit will call
“Latchkey Number” (refer to section 4-2-1) whenever the Disarm or
Away button is pressed.
