69-1009 PLANNING FOR EMERGENCIES The best protection you can have is a good escape plan. Plan for various emergencies, and practice. Draw your floor pain. There should be at least two exits from each room. Discuss emergency plans with everyone who lives in the house. Everyone should know the following: + How to use the security system. Main and alternate exits for each bedroom. If you hear a siren when you come home, don't go in the house. Emergency and fire escape plans.
