68-1009 Handheld Remote The Handheld Remote lets you operate your system from any room in the house. You can also turn all programmed lights on and off simulcast nervously or control each light individually. IMPORTANT: You may not be able to hear the system voice unless you are in the same room as the panel. 69-1009 Smoke Sent The wireless smoke sensor sounds if there is a fire or smoke in your home. It includes an alarm siren, a low battery annunciation, and a status light. TEST BUTTON swamis Fig. 7. 69-1009 Motion Sensors Motion sensors detect movement within a general area. They can be used indoors or outdoors. In an outdoor installation, be sure to select the outdoor mason sensor with the weather-resistant case, and designate the sensor “special chime”. Use motion sensors to protect locations where door/window sensors are impractical or not needed. For example, use a motion sensor to protect large areas, open floor plans, or along hallway.

Depending on your circumstances, you might find an additional or remote siren desirable. If your home is large or you've positioned the panel on one side of your house, an extra siren will increase sound coverage.
