9-1009 SYSTEM COMPONENTS Watch Wise Wireless Home Security Components ‘The basic system includes the items pictured in Fig. 1. Other sensors and system components can enhance your home's security and convenience. The sensors use radio waves to communicate. You should be able to use sensors within a range of at least 100 feet. Here are brief descriptions of the control panel, sensors, and devices you can use with your system. Each one comes with its own installation and location information. Refer to these Installation Instructions when you install the sensor. Installation instructions for the basic system are in this manual.
69-1009 Control Pz * The control panel is the brain of your system. It monitors the sensors and controls modules in your home. When you buy additional sensors and modules, you program them into the system. All sensors report to the panel over radio waves. After sensors have been added, the panel monitors them and can let you know if one has failed or isn't working properly.
69-1009 CHIME Doors CHIME Special Motion LIGHTS Time Activated LIGHTS Sensor Activated Activates or deactivates a chime whenever doors and windows are opened or closed. If your system is armed, your doors and windows are protected whether the chime is on or off. Activates or deactivates sensors designated “special chime” whenever the designated sensor is activated. This designation means you want to sound a chime when that sensor is activated.
