Step 18 å å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. å Fasten the CONNECTOR PLATE (35G) to the SIDE BASE MOLDINGS (Y and Z) and the OUTER END MOLDINGS (CC). Use four BLACK 9/16” LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Fasten the CONNECTOR PLATE (35G) to the FRONT BASE MOLDING (X) and the END MOLDINGS (CC). Use four BLACK 9/16” LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Hey! Step 19 å Fasten the FOOT BASE (24E) to the BOTTOM (G2). Use four SILVER 5/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (23S). å Push the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (25E) into the FOOT BASE (24E). å Turn the adjustable end of the ADJUSTABLE FOOT completely in. Step 20 å å Unfold the BACK (H) and lay it over your unit. å Fasten the BACK (H) to the top and side edges of your unit. Use nineteen BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Fasten the remaining BACK to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHT (C2) and SHELVES (E2). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened.
Step 21 VIEW THE T-LOCK BOX VIDEO 1 2 The tabs should insert freely into the slots. Gently tilt the DRAWER SIDES side to side until the tabs slip into the slots. With the palm of your hand, tap the DRAWER BOTTOM down into the groove. Un fi su nish rfa ed ce D969 D107 D107 Q Q D108 D108 Be sure the DRAWER BOTTOM inserts into the DRAWER FRONT groove. Step 22 å Insert a SLIDE CAM (10A) into the DRAWER SIDES (D107 and D108). å Fasten the DRAWER RIGHT (35DC) and DRAWER LEFT (35DD) to the DRAWER SIDES (D107 and D108). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #3. å NOTE: The screw head in the CAM must be visible through the slotted hole in the SLIDE. å Repeat this step for the other drawer.
Step 23 å Fasten a KNOB (87K) to the RIGHT DRAWER FRONT (Q). Use a BLACK 1-1/8" PAN HEAD SCREW (9S). å Repeat this step for the other drawer. 9S BLACK 1-1/8" PAN HEAD SCREW (2 used in this step) 87K Page 28 Q 402905 www.sauder.
Step 24 å å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å IMPORTANT: The ADJUSTABLE FOOT should not extend beyond the bottom edges of the BACKS (I and J). å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A2 and B2), UPRIGHT (C2), and BACKS (I and J). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (K and M2) onto the METAL PINS. Position your unit in its final location. Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms.
Step 25 å Apply the WARNING LABEL (4L) to the TOP (D2). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram. å NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it. å Insert the GROMMET (7P) and GROMMET CAP (8P) into the large hole in the TOP (D2).
Step 26 å To insert the drawers into your unit, tip the front of the drawer down and drop the rollers on the drawer behind the rollers on the unit. Step 27 å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen SCREW #3 in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments.
