The PR-D17 was designed with special
consideration for the vision impaired. Practical voice prompts and
high contrast large yellow rotary tuning and volume control knobs
and preset buttons with raised symbols to aid in identification have
been added which makes operating the PR-D17 simple and
intuitive. Each button press is followed by an audio prompt to help
guide the user through actions such as station browsing, setting the
alarm clock, radio station information, time and settings.
With a growing and aging population the PR-D17
is a necessary item for the Radio enthusiast who is blind or vision
impaired.
Large and easy to read Backlit LCD display that
highlights RDS information, reception, frequency strength, battery
and alarm symbols.
Built-in 200mm AM Ferrite Antenna bar allows for
best AM reception along with an external adjustable FM telescopic
antenna.
