Pressing Mute/Unmute (left softkey) mutes the microphone during a call so the caller is unable to hear any sound. When you place an emergency 911 call, the GPS feature of your phone seeks information to calculate your approximate location.

Tip Creating a saved series of numbers with pauses is very useful when entering data into an automated system.
Plus (+) Code Dialing Using Abbreviated Dialing When placing international calls, you can use Plus Code Dialing to automatically enter the international access code for your location (for example, 011 for international calls placed from the United States). Abbreviated Dialing is similar to speed dialing. You can use either of the following abbreviated dialing features. 䢇 Contacts Match – Retrieve any number saved in your Contacts by entering only the last four to six digits of the number.
