A SIM card may be preinstalled, or you may be able to use your previous SIM card. Network indicators for 5G service are based on your carrier’s specifications and network availability. Getting started Maintaining water and dust resistance CAUTION To avoid electric shock and damage to your device, do not charge device while it is wet or in an area where it could get wet. Do not handle device, charger or cords with wet hands while charging. The device is not impervious to dust and water damage in any situation. It is important that all compartments are closed tightly.
Getting started Charge the battery Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. A compatible, reversible USB Type-C cable is included with the device. The USB Type-C cable can use a USB Type-C travel adapter, portable charging devices, smartphones, laptops, wireless charging and other devices that offer USB-C ports, both for charging and data transfer. NOTE Use only Samsung-approved chargers and cables.
Getting started Wireless power sharing Wirelessly charge your compatible Samsung devices using your phone. Some features are not available while sharing power. 1. From Settings, tap Battery and device care > Battery > Wireless power sharing. 2. Tap Battery limit and choose a percentage. Once the device you are charging has reached this level of charge, wireless power sharing automatically turns off. 3. Tap to turn on the charging feature. 4.

You can play a specific section of each video in slow motion after recording it.
Camera and Gallery Single take Capture more in each shot by taking both photos and videos at the same time. This shooting mode uses AI to create high-quality images and videos from multiple angles. Settings Access Settings There are a couple of ways to access your device settings. From a Home screen, swipe down and tap From Apps, tap 0 Settings. Settings. The following options are available: • Icon only: Show only notification icons with no details on the lock screen. • Details: Display notification details on the lock screen. • Transparency: Set the transparency value of notification cards. • Auto-reverse text color: Reverse the color of notification text based on the background color. • Hide content: Do not show notifications in the Notification panel.
Settings • Widgets: Enable widgets on the Lock screen and Always On Display screen to get quick access to useful information. • Contact information: Show your contact information, such as your phone number or email address. • Notifications: Select which notifications to display on the Lock screen and Always On Display screen. • Shortcuts: Select which app shortcuts to add to the Lock screen. • About Lock screen: Update the Lock screen’s software.
Settings Turn on Find My Mobile Before you can use the Find My Mobile feature, you must turn it on and customize the options. To access your device remotely, visit findmymobile.samsung.com. 1. From Settings, tap 2. Tap 0 Biometrics and security > Find My Mobile. to enable Find My Mobile and log in to your Samsung account. The following options are available: • Remote unlock: Allow Samsung to store your PIN, pattern, or password, allowing you to unlock and control your device remotely.
Settings Secure Folder You can create a secure folder on your device to protect private content and apps from anyone who may be using your device. You must sign in to your Samsung account to set up and use Secure folder. ◌ From Settings, tap 0 Biometrics and security > Secure Folder and follow the prompts to secure content on your device. Private Share Share files privately, prevent recipients from resharing, and set expiration dates. Keep your data safe with blockchain technology.
Settings Encrypt or decrypt SD card You can encrypt your optional memory card (not included) to protect its data (Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ only). This only allows the SD card information to be accessed from your device with a password. 1. From Settings, tap 0 Biometrics and security > Encrypt or decrypt SD card. 2. Tap Encrypt SD card and follow the prompts to encrypt all data on your memory card.
Settings Set up SIM card lock You can set up a PIN to lock your SIM card, which prevents unauthorized use of your SIM card if someone attempts to use it in another device. Options may vary by carrier. ◌ From Settings, tap 0 Biometrics and security > Other security settings > Set up SIM card lock and follow the prompts. • Tap Lock SIM card to turn on the feature. • Tap Change SIM card PIN to create a new PIN. View passwords You can have characters displayed briefly in password fields as you type them.

Settings Format a memory card When formatting an SD card, you should back up your music and photo files that are stored on the card because formatting the SD card deletes ALL stored files. 1. Settings Reset accessibility settings You can reset device accessibility settings. Accessibility settings in downloaded apps and your personal data are not affected. 1.
