Battery Cover Your phone has a removable battery cover, covering the battery and a tab for attaching a strap. Removing the Cover Note: The battery comes partially charged. You must fully charge the battery before using your phone for the first time. A fully discharged battery requires up to 4 hours of charge time.

Because this is a touch screen phone, locking the display prevents unintentional key presses and can minimize unnecessary battery drainage. Locking the phone can prevent unauthorized access to the information on your phone, while allowing access to the Dialer for call functions.
