E’ quindi importante fare attenzione al tipo di utensile che viene utilizzato. Se il recipiente è marcato come idoneo alle microonde non c’è motivo di preoccuparsi. Le microonde fanno muovere rapidamente le molecole di cui sono costituiti gli alimenti. Il movimento veloce delle molecole provoca attrito, che genera calore. Questo calore cuoce gli alimenti. Usare un recipiente di pirex con coperchio.

Coprire e iniziare la cottura. Quando il tempo di cottura è trascorso, girare prima di far riposare e condire con sale, o aggiungere aromi o burro. Nota: il riso potrebbe non assorbire tutta l’acqua durante la cottura.
